Talk on the methods of charting social relationships

A talk on how to investigate the patterns of social relationships through the use of historical and anthropological materials.

The lecture was originally given to the Joint Schools Course on Research Methods, University of Cambridge, for taught M.Phil. Masters students, recorded here as a talk in January 2005, about 25 minutes long, filmed and spoken by Alan Macfarlane
